a journey into the illustrated world of visual inspirations

An assignment part of my minor Illustration, and still a work in progress. Design a cover for a (favourite?) track. I choose Duvelduvel, a Dutch hiphopformation based in Rotterdam. The design is based on their lyrics and visions they try to express. The song is a bit about all the bragging and boasting in the Dutch hiphopworld, even if the one doin’ all the braggin’ and boastin’ is just a rookie. Duvelduvel tells in this song that all the bragging and boasting is just plain ol’ bullshit if you haven’t proven yourself in the (musical) game.
